Encouraging experimental cultures

Through the process of our diploma, the design research programme pushed us to experiment in order to inform the direction of the project. As much as we wanted to experiment ourselves, we were also intrigued by how to invite others to experiment, and how experimental cultures might emerge. We approached this by putting together invitations, events, sms-challenges and web archives, disseminated by tongue, posters and social media. As the project went on, curious folks around town picked up on our initative, and small experiments popped up around us. Alongside having local impact on bypassers, organization members and neighbors, the experiments were documented and collected in our webarchive "eksperimentarkivet", and uploaded to the USB-sticks towards the end of the project.
